Intermediate Rock Climbing

(4 Hours)

Building off your acquired skills in the Basic Rock Climbing course, this course helps you improve your climbing technique and teaches you to set up your own top rope anchors.

Course Topics Include:

  • top roping anchors, setup and safety
  • equipment needed to safely set up a top rope anchor
  • basics of sport climbing and technical climbing
  • equipment, safety and technique required for each type of climbing

Bring: Rock Climbing shoes  (can be rented locally for a nominal fee) and harness, food/snacks, water (2L recommended), clothing layers appropriate for time of year, sunscreen, personal items, and a daypack to keep items together.
