Uinta Mountains, Take Two: Climbing

Uintas, UT – Alpine sport climbing with a view.

Back to the Bald Mountain trailhead, we went with option 2 – the trail in the opposing direction of yesterdays. Wild Raspberries in the Uintas - Thrillseekers AnonymousThe rumors we had heard of the Uintas were a modest understatement of its actual beauty. The fascinatingly featured quartzite rock overlooking a picturesque alpine lake was all ours for the taking. We climbed all but one route at the crag, doing laps on our favorites and eating wild raspberries by the handful between climbs.

Sounds like a movie, right? Nope, this was our amazing day.
